Dive bars are one of Wisconsin's most precious unnatural resources. There are nearly as many of them dotting the landscape as there are cows, each with its own scents and flavors, charm and character, and of course, taxidermy. Although patrons often have allegiance to a particular dive, the good ones are always free of pretense and attitude. In a true Wisconsin dive, you will always be as comfortable as your favorite flannel.
